Twitter suspended my account again. Here’s my appeal. Yes I included @mmasnick‘s link.

I’ve already posted this publicly but here goes.

I will treat your question seriously.

Twitter is digital commons I have enjoyed since early 2007.

A place where I have relationships with people I know in no other setting.

Where, over the years, I have curated lists of accounts on topics of interest.

Where discoverability is MUCH better than here.

I now have friends - real F2F friends - who are here but not there. So I have a foot in both places.

There are certainly many things about Twitter as it was I miss, but I'd much rather encourage my network to move to Mastodon & offer whatever help I can provide to do so than continue to pretend that, on balance, it's a net positive for society
Mastodon may take a bit more effort to find things, but time well spent.
The only things I will go to Twitter for is direct communication with politicians, vendor support & organizations not here. And always encourage them to move here.
