And yet tear gas is used indiscriminately on peaceful civilians and less peaceful revolutionaries all the fucking time

And like it's banned in #war

Why is it okay to be used in such excess (often in grenades fires directly at #protesters instead of lobbed) against a state's own people

Brings me to the thought of how "less lethal" #weapons assumes they're being used "correctly"
A rubber bullet or a tear gas grenade in the face from 10 feet away is not that "intended" method (I say intended in quotes bc I'm not convinced the manufacturers actually intend it to be used in the way it is sold)
