Republicans don't give a damn about the deficit. They've raised the debt ceiling again and again while handing out trillions in tax cuts to billionaires.

Their end goal is to gut popular programs like Social Security and Medicare, which tens of millions of Americans rely on.

@rbreich I have been watching some of the various congressional hearings. Never an easy task but with the current batch of malcontents, traitors, and other less than savory characters who are mistaken for leaders and patriotic citizens, wow. How is it possible to be any less qualified to hold such positions of honor? Then, adding insult to injury, suggest/make changes to our democratic republic's processes which should not be even considered.
The inmates have control of the asylum.
