WHY do company managers think that them taking you to lunch is a "reward"??

1. I don't hate my manager, but I *really* have no wish whatsoever to socialize with her.

2. My lunch hour is usually my time to have a break from people and be left TF alone for a bit to recharge.

I honestly don't want to use my own time to be forced to socialize, and not with people I don't want to be personal friends with.

But I have to for my "reward." 😑
