Paul KedroskyEven hardcore Twitter types noticing the decline in timeline activity there. Social networks, like all social activities, can flip rapidly from FOMO (fear of missing out) to FOBS (fear of being seen). Twitter is very close to doing that FOMO→FOBS engagement flip.
DigitalMonkey@paul I would like to move on from Twitter but can't because I'd literally miss out. This whole "Twitter dying" discourse completely ignores that there's a universe beyond the US and frankly even Europe. If you want to follow crises, conflicts or discussions in the Middle East and Africa you just don't have an alternative to Twitter. People there don't care about US culture wars and our internal problems with fascism - and why would they?
