I am forever needing words from you, my fellow Fedi-versians about how it was so NOT a step-down to make and enjoy new friends and communities here.
Please take a moment to post some positive fedi takes, feelings, experiences or even advice to this tag. I'd like to try to inform, rather than judge, shame, or scold our many friends and associates still trapped by their habits, brands, employment, or network effects.
@shoq The level of discourse on Mastodon is so much better but the vibe is very different from Twitter.
Mastodon is like a cocktail party where you can chat with lots of interesting people you didnβt know before vs. Twitter is like a basketball arena where if youβre lucky the TV camera will pan by you and youβll see yourself on the jumbotron occasionally but the ability to actually make meaningful discourse is limited.
β¦ and I can edit posts anytime I want.
