For 18 years I’ve been, and will continue to be a #WordPress dev and tool maker; but there is a reason why #Ghost is still around and runs much, much, faster than WP out-of-the-box. Automattic should really bundle their own WP Super Cache next to Hello Dolly & Akismet (or replace one of the latter). Just the default of WP Super Cache makes up for an otherwise lackluster experience. Ghost starts up, fast, beautiful, and capable; I’ll be doing benchmarks in a future post. Stay tuned.
