Chris Brookes was a masterful radio storyteller from St. John’s, Newfoundland who helped change the way we make, and listen, to radio. He died from an accidental fall on April 10, 2023. His longtime collaborator Paolo Pietropaolo pays tribute to his audio legacy by writing about a 2009 IDEAS documentary called Hark! that they co-produced.
