In my view/experience (I used to lead social media strategy/operations for ESPN Deportes, serving Spanish speakers in the U.S.), as badly lacking as moderation can be for English-speaking U.S. audiences, it’s magnitudes worse outside the U.S. and for non-English speaking audiences in the U.S. Speaking about Western dominated platforms, ones that originate in/focus on China/Korea/etc this would not apply.
