I don't necessarily think "the young people will save us" because white supremacy is intergenerational and a lot of what's happening today are bigots ensuring their bigotry gets passed on successfully.
But age is just a number and I don't inherently respect anyone because of theirs.
All most people seem interested in is buying their way into these power structures so the enshittification affects them as little as possible instead of trying to fucking fix it.

I'm almost 46. There have been many, many times where I might have failed my saving throw vs. suicidal ideation.
A lot of other people did.
And what made me suicidal? It wasn't being trans. It wasn't even dysphoria. It was shitty cis-het white people making my life a living hell for fun.
