As if being in the hospital for a broken back wasn’t enough, a pimple has turned into an abscess on my crotch that they may have to surgically lance…at least I’m already in the hospital, I guess…

So tomorrow I get to look forward to standing xrays guaranteed to cause me pain, and a possible stabbing of my crotch to drain it.
They had me put hot compresses on it to try to get it to take care of itself, but the water here doesn’t get hot. They gave us some temp hear pads but they do not get very hot and cool down super fast…so they gave us hot water from Nurse’s station, we got 2 compresses from it…

If I wasn’t in the hospital, I’d likely have just had Pepper lance it with a sewing needle…so probably good I’m in the hospital already and can just ask a RN to look at it…
