Local government elections:

Following the imposition of ID requirements, this reminder might be helpful:

1. You don't need ID for postal voting.
2. The last date to register for a postal vote is the 18th of April.
3. Don't vote Tory.

@BigJackBrass Apply directly to your local council for a postal vote. A copy of the form and the address to send it to will be on the council's website. Copies of the form will also be available at the front desk of the council offices. All that's required from you is your full name, address, date of birth and a signature.

Do not use a prepaid envelope that goes to a central clearing house or a political party. That way will lead to delays in processing.
