Matt Hornsby@glennf in days before dropbox and ubiquitous smart phone, I used it to turn emails to myself into an RSS feed, so I could easily pass myself notes from work.
I think I also cobbled an RSS to html pipe to aggregate my tumbls, pownces, etc for embedding, mostly just because I could.
