Corporations call them “convenience fees” or “service fees.” Probably because they “conveniently” “serve” to pad their bottom lines, costing Americans at least $29 billion/yr.

It’s all a huge scam.

Instacart fees. I don't mind paying the delivery people, but otherwise, even their fees have fees. And that's on top of the huge increase in the price of the groceries themselves.
