@rbreich This may be a knee-jerk response, but remember the rhetoric from Reagan on “welfare mothers,” on guns, and what devolved into “American exceptionalism,” and consider where we are today. What’s saddest to me about this is that we had to get through 25+ years of Democrats trying to 3rd Way and framejack this whole fascist politics, making it seem legitimate and even moderate.
