Felix BernoullyApple's HomeKit software, and the HomePod mini in particular are the shitstain in Apple's underwear.
Never had a device from Apple so consistently (and apparently unfixably) unreliable as the HomePod serving as HomeKit Control center. Avoid!
JRP@felixbernoully have to relate to this a good 80% of the time. I have 6 of them & the entire infrastructure frustrates me so much. “ Unable to connect to Apple Music” …. “ There is a problem with the internet “ ……..” Huh “ ……..” I am having trouble connecting at this time “
The list goes on. Nothing else hardly has any trouble connecting in my household. Siri/HomePod mini is totally shocking & for me hasn’t improved over the yrs/updates.
@JRP69 I used to have an iPad as #HomeKit Control Center and it worked without a hitch. Only after I got that blasted ball of misery #HomePodMini the trouble started. Can't go 2 days without losing connection to all devices, needs to be reset (power-cycled) constantly. Spent hours on the phone with #Apple support, they're stumped, sent a replacement unit, still the same problems.
