Online dating apps are terrible, and meeting people in the wild is hard.

I just ran across a new social experiment, Pear Ring. The idea is, singles wear this aqua-colored silicone ring to signal they're open to meeting and talking with people.

Who knows if it'll get traction, but it'd be great if there were some alternative to online dating platforms.

I'm not affiliated with the organization doing this. But I feel like there's a timeline where this helps people.

Single? Imagine if 1.2 billion single people around the world wore a ring to say; “hey I’m single, come say hello” in real life, in person 🍐

I appreciate the favorites!

But candidly, only boosts spread the idea.

Boosts are what I'm asking for.

@jeb Someone actively asking for Boosts gets Muted from my timeline.

@Doohickie
I totally get that. However.

I was really excited about something that maybe could help single people find each other better, and get us out from under the horrible environment of online dating apps.

I asked my network for a little help for the first time, and got back information on your personal policy of not helping specifically when people ask for it.

So I'm off to find a "network" that will actually help me pursue my dreams and accomplish things I care about.

Toodle-oo!
