No expulsion. ⁣ ⁣ They’ve had members who beat their wives… no expulsion. ⁣ ⁣ They’ve had members brought up on charges of fraud and theft…. No expulsion. ⁣ ⁣ And this Black man peacefully protested gun violence and the lack of effort to curb it…. AND THEY REMOVED HIM FROM HIS ELECTED OFFICE.⁣ ⁣ It’s a low point in American democracy. ⁣ ⁣ This is a sign of both where we are and where we are going.
