Almost 7am. Chocolate for breakfast. Pretty sure it won't be chocolate for lunch, 'cos Mum's asked me to bring a sprig of rosemary and she's not sufficiently avant-garde to add that to chocolate. (At least, I hope she isn't.)
Turns out I now need to wear my glasses when removing foil from small caramel-filled Easter eggs. This is the saddest thing about middle age.

@brett @MarkAsser Yes well, if eventually you get cataracts and need artificial lenses, you can get the doctor to optimise them for your preferred distance. Mine were optimised for reading a computer screen, so these days I mostly don't need to wear glasses indoors, after wearing them all the time since about age seven.

That's not the saddest thing.

That's when you have about 8 pairs of reading glasses and you can't find a pair when you want to read something.

They cluster. Usually in the bathroom due to reading your phone on the loo.
