Gregory Thomson@ct_bergstrom I am pretty sure the choice of the word "assault weapon" is chosen for its legal ambiguity knowing it will fail challenges. A political party is not an idea or philosophy, rather a collection of incongruous constituents the sum of which hopefully gets majority votes.
@ct_bergstrom The goal is power, not representation per se, but lip service and some legislation just to keep a faction on board. Point being, Biden pretends to be anti gun but gives the opposition a loop hole, his style. One has to wonder if either party even has a vision, and MAGA just another faction that gathers the idiot vote, not a going concern. You were probably not around, remember UW History Proff Giovani Costigan debating WF Buckley Jr. at Hec Ed?
