Steve's Place@indigneousphoto I'm curious about the mono tape deck apparently attached to the phone handset on the wall. Was that to create a time delay for live, on-air phone calls?

@indigneousphoto I'm guessing there is a 2nd turntable hidden behind his left arm, and that the box on the left wall is the transmitter. It would make sense for the tape deck to delay request calls. That's a very clean and functional studio layout. He knew what he was doing.
