No, the goal is simply to point out the disconnect. No one expects this to pass.

"The San Francisco Board of Education recently decided to rename 44 of its schools named after prominent figures with ties to racism, sexism and slavery."

This seems to fall in line with such decisions. Shouldn't we be glad to rid ourselves of political parties that supported slavery? Isn't this far overdue? Shouldn't we topple and burn anything related to those parties?
