I comment on showing Hindu art w/swastikas (which I do, knowing it can cause offense b/c Nazis) and my personal experience that Gen Z is pretty robust with difficult subjects.

@simon_lucy that doesn’t always hold true. But yes, I explain general points of distinction. The most critical is context.
Good, then it isn't a generational difference more about good teaching practice which I guess is as inconsistently done now as in the past, and it did happen in the past.
So your class is fortunate :-).
