In 2019 a GOP rep confessed on tape to child molestation. Instead of expelling him, or even sanctioning him in some other way, they rewarded him by putting him in charge of the schools.

They aren't just indifferent to the welfare of kids, they see hurting kids as a part of their political remit.

Yup. And to expel lawmakers for this is proof that Tennessee is not a representative government. Because the other party can just override your vote any time they decide they want to.
