big "guns don't kill people, people kill people" energy from mr. wonderful, kevin o'leary 🙄

from Jacob Silverman's podcast about the collapse of ftx

the complete lack of remorse and unwillingness to take any responsibility that o'leary shows in this episode is pretty sickening.

aside from the fact that this episode may put you in a foul mood because of that, highly recommend the podcast.

it gives a good overview of what happened in ftx given that it's only four short episodes, and silverman actually talks to people who lost money in the collapse.

@molly0xfff that guy is a clownshow douche
@filmaj @molly0xfff IMO whenever someone starts trying to capitalize on their image as a businessperson, they’re out of actual business ideas and shouldnt be listened to. There’s gotta be more money in running a company then there is in being a celebrity unless you’re trying to shill some kinda scam. And why would they want to bring us with them to the top anyway?
@filmaj @molly0xfff also if you look at it that way, O’Leary is just leaving the door open to run more of these scams in the future - and why wouldn’t he? Presumably he made a boatload with no repercussions.
