Kal@jcolp You have any thoughts on EQ Bank? You seem to be into the alternate banking stuff so thought maybe you had experience with them. MogoCard shutting down sadly.
Joshua C. Colp 🇨🇦🚴@kal Ugh. They ignored me when I filed a security vulnerability, only fixing it a few years later. Their online and mobile banking platforms are unstable/unreliable at times. The "goals" on my accounts were stuck for a year and a half. Support is iffy and generally just passes the problem to someone behind the scenes to maybe get fixed. I don't use them.
@jcolp Wow, that's pretty bad. Thanks for the heads up, I'll pass that along to the others I know affected by this shutdown. Any prepaid card you would recommend? (I get if you'd rather not as it might be a privacy concern)
@kal Not really - I don't use prepaid cards. It's not an area I keep much tabs on. The whole fintech space is a bit fickle up here, hard to make money and sustain things.
