Neighbours in their garden, loudly: "ooh the moon is beautiful!"

Me: o.O *slips outside with phone*

And here's one with the big camera XD (Nikon Z6 and a Tamron 18-400mm lens, processed in Darktable)
If it looks weird, it's because I'm in the Southern Hemisphere and you're in the Northern Hemisphere
@welshpixie One of my short stories (not yet available on my website) has a character who's convinced the sun is upside-down. He had a friend who traveled to Chile once, and he regrets never asking the friendβ€”now goneβ€”if the sun looked upside-down to him while he was in the South.

@welshpixie Something is wrong with the stars.

@welshpixie Shot at 400mm? Cropped?

I have a 650mm lens on a wishlist, and I refer to it as a "moon shot" lens, largely because I imagine it'll mostly be used to get closeups of the moon.

@welshpixie

She just got closer to it. Haven't you heard of "zoom with your feet"?

@tyrannosaurusgirl @welshpixie Hmmm, I thought Artemis II wasn't launching till later this year.
@pjohanneson yes and yes :)
@welshpixie
I only had my #SamsungNX 150mm f/2.8 with me yesterday and the remaining crop resolution is almost tiny, but when I shoot with the 500mm (APS-C), the moon is filling out the sensor pretty well.
