Once Upon a Coaster

This image is one of our favorites - Ninja at @SFMagicMountain is a gem to photograph no matter what year you happen to be photographing her.

Opened in 1988, Ninja is an Arrow Dynamics suspended coaster. She is one of only a handful of suspended roller coasters from Arrow that are still operational, and the only one remaining in the Six Flags chain.

@onceuponacoaster @SFMagicMountain It’s also the only roller coaster my dad likes because it reminds him of “that part in Star Wars where they go through the forest on those flying motorcycles.”

@smartwatermelon @SFMagicMountain It's my belief that Six Flags keeps this coaster operational because low key everyone secretly loves riding it still.
