Semi-Hollow JazzMaster Bass VI Build Update:

After more than 8 months of slow, intermittent work, it is finally done! This build doesn’t have a clever name, but it’s my finest luthiery work thus far.

This is my (incredibly late) entry for the Great Guitar Build Off 2022.

It’s a Semi-Hollow JazzMaster Bass VI. The neck is a 5-piece multi-laminate through neck consisting of black walnut and hard maple, with black veneer between the layers, and a black walnut headstock top veneer.

The body is a semi-hollow JazzMaster-ish shape with a hard maple core and flame black walnut top and back. The body features a Bass Clef inspired F-hole.
