I don't post much here. The site's ok but I prefer the interface of Post. Too bad Musk has decentralized experts. I'll miss that aspect of social media, having access to informed takes all in one place.

@skettley If you engage, you'll get a lot more out of it. You'll only get out of it what you put into it. I followed 100 random people when I joined; then a hundred more; I chased diversity of thinking and variation of thought. And I must admit, I find my timeline extremely rich, wonderful, and rewarding.

I still don't have all the various subject matter experts that I need here, but I make up for that in other ways.

I'm on Post, and have a totally different experience.

@jimcarroll They are definitely two different platforms. I think our attention is being divided, so I just devoted time to one platform over another. One plus about the not-Twitter platforms (either Post or Mastodon) is that people do tend to follow back and reply.
