@TheAuthorVivian I don't doubt it's a real game, but I am wondering if the dev put this in, after the game testers kept breaking the game with stupid entries :)
Because it's funny to have the knowledge how people will react to this "feature". Back in the days, there was no social media; so, if you wanted your game to become popular, and couldn't afford ads, that was a way — everybody was talking about it!
@TheAuthorVivian I hadn't thought of it that way, but it makes sense. Word-of-mouth and gaming magazines were the only way we found out about new games. I didn't have access to BBSs or the Internet until early 90s, when my dad got a modem and AOL.
Yeah, good old times... 😁
Anyway.
I have tried to find out what game this actually was, but the only reference was "Indiana Jones" something something.
So, still dunno.
