I cold-brewed a batch of Death Wish #coffee yesterday for the first time in a while. Had the first glass today and had to add milk to avoid instant heartburn. And here I thought cold brew was itself supposed to reduce acidity. Anyone got tips on this?
Specs: approx. 175g of coffee, ground medium-coarse in my cheap burr grinder, to 1200ml of water. Steeped about 22 hours at room temp in a large press before plunging it down. Diluted 1:1 with cold water at serving, then added ice.
