It's what I love about keeping ants. They take so much care to help each other.

I wonder if they noticed an alarm pheromone and that's what got them to surround her? Or maybe they just noticed that she had outside smells?

I've watched several ants works for HOURS to free a sister from a cocoon or to repair an injured leg-- or to just revive a sister who fell into water by licking her clean.
