@MicroSFF I know this isn’t the point but I’m stuck here on the metabolic implications of exhalate sufficiently oxygenated to support a similarly-proportioned second organism. I can suspend disbelief on some sort of electrolytic dermal/pulmonary oxygen transport but what is going on in the respiration pathway exactly
