@csteinmetz1 on the other hand it seemed like in the ML space mastondon is attracting the sceptics, thus the hype stays at twitter which isn't a bad thing
Jordan B. L. Smith@faro @csteinmetz1 I think it's quiet in part because if nobody you're following posts anything, you don't see anything. I like this as a feature; it should be possible for there to be slow news days.
@jblsmith @csteinmetz1 I never used the twitter feed and always just read the linear timeline using a 3rd party client (until that broke recently) so I have no idea how good the recommendations were. I basically followed and unfollowed people to saturate my daily timeline. Sometimes I muted accounts for a week when I was busy.
