The Netherlands now has an estimated 19.6 GW of solar PV and 8.8 GW of wind capacity. The total of 28.4 GW far exceeds our average demand of 13 GW.
That's why we're increasingly seeing periods in which wind+solar electricity production exceeds direct demand.

Yes, makes sense.
Since more than 40 years, exactly since the World Climate Confrence in Autumn 1979 we know, that our dependance of fossile energies would brake our necks one day. Right now we see it happening with the climate crisis.
So, we have to change our lifestyle. That it can and will work, is showed in Netherlands.
