Business card from Dean Jeffries Auto Styling left from when I interviewed him in the 70s. Best known for the 60s "Green Hornet" Black Beauty, the #JamesBond "Diamonds are Forever" moon buggy, the original "Death Race 2000" cars, the "Damnation Alley" Land master, plus other TV/movie cars and classic show rods.

Yes, it's stuck to my fridge. I found it in some old papers recently and didn't want to loose track of it.
@jstevenyork I can't say for sure if this is the same place as it's 3077 Cahuenga Blvd, Hollywood rather than avenue. Either the original North Cahuenga Ave has had its name changed to something entirely different, or it just became blvd and this is the place.
@jstevenyork Check it out, you go around the corner, and you can see inside.
@StarkRG It's been a long time, but that COULD be the same building. Dean's work bays were to the right of the lobby area, not the left, so I think that wing on the left was added on later, if so. That was a parking area, and the Landmaster (which Dean brought back from the movie company and kept for movie rentals and a planned sci-fi overhaul that never happened) was usually in the front of that area, sometimes half-way up the earth embankment that still seems to be there.
@jstevenyork It certainly looks like it could have been an add-on.
@jstevenyork I love Death Race 2000. Was he involved in the sequel, Death Race 2050?
@vwdasher Dean passed away three years before this was released, so almost definitely not. When we toured his shop, there was a yard out back where a lot of fiberglass molds for past projects were stored. In particular, I noticed the front end and grill for the Black Beauty, and several of the original Death Race cars.
@jstevenyork Oh my god the Beetles have survived? How amazing!
