Yday I was at a gathering of Dems in my assembly district (41st, #AD41) and when Assemblymember Chris Holden spoke, he said ‘Mother Nature is not playing.’
Holden: CA needs to get out ahead & strengthen infrastructure imperiled by our extreme weather from Climate Change. He was on Utils&Energy Committee*, and w 3 major CA electric utils, 1 in bankruptcy, he woke up worrying, What if CA has no power?

I hadn’t yet read the #CAaqueduct story till today. Same “what if?” worry.
