Jesse HarrisBecause my sense of civic duty overrides my better judgement, I'm at the Iron County Republican Party 2023 organizing convention. Not much to do as a county delegate since all of the candidates for executive offices are running unopposed. There are three candidates for state central committee, and (without any surprise) at least one is a stereotypical #utgop bombthrower. I'm not sure I want to do the delegate thing again in 2024 as this party has sprinted, not drifted, away from me. #utpol
Beau Sorensen@elforesto when I got run out for voting Biden in 2020, I was annoyed. But it has been a peaceful year and change!
@sorro I'm not going to do the delegate thing while the party is like this, and probably not even caucus night either. If not for primary elections (of which there are fewer thanks to a decrease in candidates running) I'd probably go independent at this point.
@elforesto Iron County seems to be worse than even Utah County at this point. Is it because of the Cozzens?
