they are the biggest shareholder of openai, they have gotten exclusive access to the openai source code, and currently openai has the most advanced ai models. microsoft is not waiting around and are implement gpt-4 the latest language model to all their products with copilot x. It's not just bing, or edge, its also office 365, visual studio etc. They are moving faster than any of the other tech giants, innovating in this space.

I am not sure what you understand under "ai", but it openGPT is exactly what ai researches and experts have been writing about for many years, a large language model able to understand our natural language, Interpret it, understand it and answer the question. Linking the language model to a robot body and we got autonomous robots that understand our words and can interact in the real world. It is artificial and it is intelligent, gpt-4 is currently the closest technology we have to agi (artificial general inteligence), its no longer limited by just text, but can understand images as well with the new image input that will soon be released to opengpt premium users.
