I can’t tell you how many jobs I’ve applied to and heard absolutely *nothing* back.

Even if AI is filtering out applicants, can’t they have their AI send an AI message that the applicant has been rejected? Apparently not

@MikeElgan Excellent summary, in my experience the UK is very similar. I have 30 years experience in IT and have been looking for contract work since the start of the year. So far, nothing. Most CV submissions go unanswered and recruiters don't call you back so you never really know what the issue is.
@MikeElgan It's all about the math. The highly skilled experience and largest generation by % of population baby boomers have reached retirement age and are exiting the work force. Replaced by Gen X, one of the smallest population by % and the currently not as skilled and inexperienced Millenials.
