In college I had a critical thinking class. It was one of my favorite classes and helped you see past lots of things that weren’t true. We need full on classes like this for every student. How to spot deepfakes, AI Generated content, misinformation. It’s utterly crucial. Algorithms are often promoting bad things and get lots of attention. But if the vast majority of people realized things are BS they would ignore them or not fall for them. It’s a hard problem but deserves lots of attention.
