Then you are probably not really interested in selling things!
Ever thought about Server-Side rendered semantic HTML with CSS?
And if you really need eyecandy, add some JavaScript that doesn't limit usability.

@heiglandreas We used to call that progressive enhancement... i.e., make it usable first, and then use JS to make it even better for those who have it.

I mean, it makes absolute sense in SPAs. Which - for those that might not be familiar with the Acronym - translates to "Single Page Application". Emphasis on *Application*!
A shop is not an application! It's a collection of static websites with a search and a checkout process.
