@JessTheUnstill If there's ecological collapse -- and the odds are pretty low based on the current track -- the good news is that societal collapse would cure the cause of it.

But we're actually in much better shape than we have any right to be. There's a better-than-even chance for us to avoid going over 2.5C, and most of the west has declining carbon outputs. If China can decarbonize, we should avoid the worst of it.
