@raymierussell Depends on how many points you count for different preferences. 3 points for I fully agree and -3 for I reject completely. But another point: I fear such a system would be too complicated for most voters.

Yeah, the only virtue of 1st past the post is that it is easy to understand in the sense that the person/party/grouping with the most votes usually/often wins.
