Imagine how scary it would be if we couldn't explain the rise in global temperatures, sea level, frequency of heatwaves, droughts, floods, wildfires, and species extinction rates.

The fact that we know it's greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuel burning and land use change but fail to take more action is criminal.

@davidho TWW: People have begun a long transition that will define our success or failure. As we move from the use of fire and explosions to bubbles and magnets for our basic needs and creativity, the destructive nature of our use of primitive forces will continue to threaten our world and require that we assist the Earth to recover and its creatures to thrive.

@davidho What are your thoughts on reflecting heat away from the earth surface as a faster solution to achieve a reduction in global temperatures?

The http://meer.org project seems like a promising solution that can be controlled - unlike cloud seeding, etc.

The more we clean our atmosphere, the less particulate in the air to block solar radiation.
