@stephenjudkins Someone once screamed "LIBERAL" at me as an insult for saying Russia's not good.

Some younger and/or conspiracy-theory-minded lefties in the US like to hurl that around as an insult to shut people down.

I'm European so that term barely registers to me. :'D

@stephenjudkins It's all who you follow, but it seems to me that it's the majority of political takes on this platform so far.

I saw one yesterday blaming what was their characterization of the Democratic response to the Clinton scandal for the current state of affairs (not sure of their meaning). A total strawman that ignored ... a lot.

@stephenjudkins It makes me wonder what this place needs to improve. Obviously, more rational voices, but also, maybe a little customizable algorithm that can be toggled for more meaningful interaction. Less outrage. Less labeling someone a 'reply guy' for making a perfectly cromulent point that you just happen to disagree with.
