Someone born in Belfast can travel across Europe for as long as he or she wishes and can settle in the EU without any problems. Someone born in Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff or London can’t. Is this fair? Is this not absurd? No, it’s perfectly OK according to Sunak and Starmer.

@carolejoycooper People from NI can get dual Irish citizenship and thus the full benefits of EU citizenship, with unlimited travel & residency across the EU.
