And, if he gets off, well, it means that no president ever will be prosecuted again. Because, if the legal bar is that high, there's no floor that your democracy won't fall to.
The various state governments, federal agencies and regulators are right to go carefully. The good faith and credit of America's institutions are under the microscope.
And, two weeks later, Mr. 45 has been indicted.
