It belatedly occurs to me that this must be the origin of that classic Pi Day carol, "The Twelve Digits of Pi":
𝅘𝅥𝅮 For the first digit of Pi Day my true love gave to me
3 and a decimal point.
For the second digit of Pi Day my true love gave to me
1
and a 3 and a decimal point.
.... etc.
